Two Worlds possesses a lifted aromatic profi le of cassis, smoke, dark currants, liquorice, mocha, minerals and candied violets. There is a real intensity here and the wine is quite explosive. On the bouquet the Cabernet appears to be winning more of the race. However the dominance of the Shiraz on the palate makes for a sweeter entry. The Cabernet tannin emerges mid palate to follow a drier and more structured path. The finish is clean with the underlying tannins slowly drying out and leaving the palate with a slight pucker feel. The end result is a great balance, with the components working in perfect harmony together, giving an interesting and surprising appeal.
