The 2005 Vintage marks our seventh release of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

The selection this year is entirely from the Glendale Ranch Vineyard east of St. Helena.  The vineyard is located in a small, private valley on the flanks of the Howell Mountain region in the upper end of Conn Valley.  The grapes are surrounded on all sides by forest and natural vegetation which gives it a unique mini-climate. We have found this vineyard to yield full-flavored wines with a backbone for aging and the elegance to be enjoyed in its youth.

In addition, we have two new wines that are available through this mailing list.

WALTON , a ten year tawny port, made from traditional port varieties and aged in barrel for over ten years and,

TWO WORLDS , a California Cabernet Sauvignon/Australian Shiraz blend from the Napa Valley and the Barossa Valley. This wine is a joint venture between Egelhoff Wines and the vintners from Two Hands. We are excited to release the second wine in this series. All bottles will be in Magnum format and Etched.
